Where Art Thou

Was reading the comments of some bloggers on my deleted entries and i tried clicking on their names just to check if they're still active.  Unfortunately, they're not.  I wonder what happened to them.  I remember when i started writing in 2005, i had this group of followers who drops comments on some entries that interests them and i would do the same on theirs.  Blog entries before used to be personal where people use it as their outlet for things they can't fully express to the person they feel strongly for and/or against.  Now, blogs i see are mostly endorsements, don't get me wrong, i see nothing wrong with it in fact i am a follower of one blog of a model-mom-endorser-tvhost. 

I just hope to see my fellow bloggers back in the action, it must be fun seeing them here again.  Problem is, in this day and age where social media site is just tooooo many, it's hard maintaning so many acounts.  Take me for example, i have an FB, Instagram, Twitter, Foursquare and now Blog.  Good thing you can connect some accounts where one or two automatically gets updated when you access the other.  Its exactly what i did here, well, of course my entries won't be posted on twitter or FB but at least a visitor can easily access my twitter and see my IG photos from here, well assuming they're interested.  LOL.  So what exactly am i trying to say in this entry?  Jeez, i actually don't have a clue..hahahahha..bottomline, i'm wondering where my old blogger buddies are and i miss them. :)

all Pretty and Pink

My dear friend, Van recently bought an iPad so i accompanied her to Cash & Carry for some screen protector and case. Putting a protector usually takes a while so a girl like me decided to look around the place to check their cases.  Now, the shopaholic that i am (yes, my name is Jehan and i AM a shopaholic, hehehehee) lost control and ended up buying 2 iPad cases and 1 iPhone case...teehee...

But in fairness to myself, i was really just going to buy the flowery-pinky Cath Kidston case but my good ol husband kept on pestering me about it looking like a table cloth so just to shut him off, i asked him to get the case he wanted for me.  So, i ended up having two, which solves both my and the husbands wants.  I thought that was pretty clever.  I wish i could post the photo of my lovely case but for some reason, i cant seem to find that attach photo button anywhere on my screen so just try to imagine Cath Kidston's Button Rose design in leather with velvet like inscriptions inside.  Augh! Really wish i could post the photo. I'll use my lappy at home and see if i can edit this post.  :)

Deleted

If you look at my profile, I started blogging in 2005 but when I decided to go back to writing, i also decided to start fresh and delete all my old posts. I was feeling nostalgic today when I was reading my old entries before deleting them. I initially thought of just creating a new blog altogether but when i realized how much work that will take with the templates and the theme, i just went ahead and cleaned up my old blog and making it new. Deleting the entries does not mean I'm deleting my past, it's really more of ensuring that I do not look back. Just like how I did with my blog, starting fresh just means repackaging my old self. I am still the old Jehan, I'm just starting a new chapter in life bringing with me all the leanings from my past and leaving the baggages behind. I also know that with this chapter, I'll be dealing with more complicated and real issues which I will be braving myself into. 😉

New Life

WoW! It's literally been ages since i last wrote on a blog. I'm not even sure if i can still write. There has been sooo many things that happened in my life since my last entry. Most important thing which will definitely change my outlook in life as well as the tone of my upcoming entries is the fact that i am married! Yup folks, married as in the works with the church, white gown, entourage, flowers and 'i dos'. And i married a perfect guy for me. I've been a follower of a number of bloggers for months now which inspired me to go back to my first love, writing. I am not sure if ill be able to keep this up but i will most definitely try my best. There are a couple of things im looking forward to this year, our new home which we are currently renovating, designing, furniture and appliances buying and of course moving in. Right now, im mostly busy with looking for funds (ha ha ha ha!) for my dream home, smsing friends for helper referrals and googling for home design/color inspirations. Apart from those, i also have my regular 8hours office job at in insurance company, dear friends, precious family and of course my husband. That's it for now. I'll have to re-acquaint myself with blogger again so ill probably be tinkering with this site when i get home tonight. I'm actually excited. LOL. Laters, baby. (ha! yes, i belong to the Christian Grey cult).
